Refund and Cancellation Policy

This Refund and cancellation Policy (“Policy”) governs the Terms and conditions under which the payments are accepted and refunds are processed for the services offered through the KMC Nursing College website (“Website”) owned and operated by KMC Institute of Health Sciences(“College” or “We” or “Us” or “Our”). By using this website, You, the User, agree to the terms and conditions set forth herein.

Scope:

This Policy applies to:

  • Application fees;
  • Admission / registration fees;
  • Tuition fees;
  • Hostel and mess fees;
  • Any other fees paid to the College.

General Principles:

  • Fees paid in any mode including through the online payment gateway are non-refundable under normal circumstances.
  • Request for Refund will be considered only in specific circumstances like Duplicate payment, technical errors etc and shall be processed only upon receipt of approval on case-to-case basis
  • Any request for refund must be submitted in writing to the college office along with proof of payment.
  • Approved refunds will be processed within a reasonable time and credited back through the original mode of payment or as decided by the College.
  • Once a payment is successfully completed, it cannot be cancelled by the parent/guardian.
  • All refund requests shall be subject to the internal policies and processes, applicable laws, regulatory guidelines and directions issued by the competent authorities from time-to-time including the Indian Nursing Council (INC), Tamil Nadu Nurses and Midwives Council (TNNMC), Directorate of Medical Education (DME) and fee fixation committees, if any.
  • The College reserves the right to deduct the applicable charges as specified in this Policy.
  • The application fees are non-refundable under all circumstances, including rejection of application.

Payment:

  • You may use any payment service, like UPI, internet banking, or debit or credit cards for making payments for availing any of the Services through the website (“Fees”). You shall be directed to our third party payment aggregator/gateway (“Payment Aggregator(s)”) once you proceed to make payment of the Fees. Once re-directed to the Payment Aggregator, you agree to be bound by the terms and conditions and privacy policy prescribed by the third-party payment gateway/aggregation partner, the basis on which, the transaction shall take place. We will share your details with the Payment Aggregator as per the terms of our privacy policy.
  • It is your responsibility to promptly provide Us with any contact or billing information changes or updates (including phone number, email address, credit card numbers, etc.). We will not validate all credit card information required by the Customer’s payment provider to secure payment.
  • By making payment to the College, you acknowledge that you have read, understood and agreed to this refund and cancellation policy.

Note: Refunds cannot be processed to third-party accounts. The name on yours registered with us should match with the name of the bank account holder. The College shall not be held liable for any delay caused in refunds due to delay by third party affiliates (including banks), in providing information by the customer, technical issues, failure to refund in case the User fails to update his/her Bank account or card or UPI details and other reasons beyond its control.
